Hi There! I’m Kai. I’m a freshman attending The University of Nevada, Reno. After my first semester studying Engineering, I realized I wanted to follow a career in journalism instead. I plan to obtain a BA in Journalism with an emphasis on film and media production.

As I’ve grown up in Reno, just 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe, I’ve grown to love the mountains and outdoors. I first took a liking to photography using my mom’s camera. Landscape photography is my favorite because I’m able to capture the beautiful world around us. I’ve since developed a love for all aspects of visual arts, from photography to graphic design, to videography. Beyond this passion, I’ve always been one to enjoy sports. For as long as I can remember, I’ve been on a skateboard, snowboard, or wakeboard. I strive to have a career in the sports industry combining my passions for visual arts and board sports.
